STUDENTS splashed their way to success at a schools swimming gala.
The event, which was organised by Wolds Cluster, took place at Francis Scaife Sports Centre in Pocklington.

Larger primary and junior schools from the area competed in a series of races and relays with medals going to winning individual swimmers and teams.

Teams from Pocklington Community Junior School, Stamford Bridge Primary School, Mount Pleasant Junior School, Holme On Spalding Moor Primary School and Melbourne Primary School all took part.

Local smaller schools will take part in a similar competition later this week.
