Pupils and staff from Pocklington School and Prep School have raised £7,226 during their annual fundraising campaign in aid of four different charities.

More than £4,400 of that total was raised by the School Walk in June, when staff and pupils hiked 24km across the Yorkshire Wolds, sponsored by family and friends.

This year the chosen charities were the Yorkshire Air Ambulance; Project Mala; childhood bereavement charity Winston’s Wish; and Cool Earth.
