102 Squadron return to Pocklington for annual event

Surviving airmen from World War II who flew out of Pocklington once again converged on the town at the weekend to enjoy their annual reunion dinner.

About a dozen flight crew members of 102 Squadron attended the dinner on Saturday evening at Wolds Gliding Club, the scene where they had begun many over their bombing missions over Nazi-occupied Europe in the 1940s.
