Wonders set for Aladdin show
A THEATRE group is ready to entertain crowds again when its latest production hits the stage of Pocklington Arts Centre next month.
The Wolds Wonders, the theatre group for local people with mental or physical disabilities, will be performing its version of Aladdin at the venue on 8 February.
Last year, the group’s performance of Wizard of Oz proved a success and project leader Julia Gregory is hoping Aladdin goes just as well.
She said: “We’re hoping for the same success.
“The group really enjoyed doing it [Wizard of Oz] and performing it to an audience. It is exciting.”
Tickets cost £4 and are available from the Arts Centre box office. The performance starts at 1pm.
