This children’s film combines state-of-the-art animation with live action comedy.

Just before he is due to take over the family business, E.B decides to go to Hollywood to try to make it as a drummer.

There he literally bumps into an out-of-work slacker called Fred, who accidentally hits E.B with his car. Pretending to be injured, E.B persuades Fred to put him up, and Fred finds himself looking after the world’s worst house guest.

When his brother abdicates the throne, George ‘Bertie’ VI – Queen Elizabeth II’s father – reluctantly becomes King.

However, George suffers from a terrible nervous stammer which, many consider, makes him unfit to take the crown. Determined to overcome his problem, Bertie hires the services of an unorthodox speech therapist called Lionel Logue.

As they work together, Lionel and Bertie strike an unlikely friendship and the new King discovers his true voice.
