I feel that I must write and complain about the amount of rubbish that is being thrown on to our roadsides and into the hedgerows.
I cycled back from Pocklington along Yapham and was absolutely disgusted with the state of the roadside, plastic bottles, drink cans, cigarette packets, fast food packaging, polystyrene, plastic bags even grass cuttings. It was all there. I probably could have filled a wheelie bin with it all.

Isn't it about time that somebody did something about the morons who deface our countryside in such a way?

I wonder what their homes and gardens look like if they treat the countryside in this way?

Farmers are constantly told to keep the countryside tidy and now have to have licences to store and get rid of their waste.

What is the point if these idiots keep throwing rubbish out of their cars? These people should be reported and then something done about them.

Mrs Diana Barnes
Yapham
