Published Date: 04 October 2007
I am calling on all animal loving artists from Pocklington to help save animals around the world.
The IFAW (International Fund for Animal Welfare), of which I am the patron, wants help designing a wall poster and calendar.

What is required is a colourful painting or drawing of one or more of the animals that IFAW helps try to protect around the world, which includes seals, whales, elephants, bears, tigers, rhinos. This year Animal Action Week runs until Sunday. There are two categories: up to 18 years and adult. Pictures should be no smaller than A4, and up to A3 size with no wording. Entrants need to provide their names, address, date of birth and telephone number, and send their picture to: IFAW Animal Action Week Office, 186 High Street, Rochester, Kent. ME1 1EY by 31 December.

Shauna Lowry, TV Presenter and patron of IFAW
