A PUBLIC meeting will be held in Pocklington on Wednesday (27 March) to discuss the proposals for Pocklington in East Riding Council’s draft Local Plan.

At a full council meeting on Wednesday 13 March, Pocklington Town Council decided that there should be a public meeting to find out what residents think of the plans for Pocklington before the town council submits its comments to the local authority.

Residents will have about one hour at the start of the meeting to express their views to councillors at the Old Courthouse in George Street, Pocklington, and then the council will discuss what its response should be.

Displays outlining the proposals are now on display in the Pocela Centre, Pocklington, until Wednesday.

You can view or download the draft Local Plan online at www.eastriding.gov.uk/erlocalplan.

The town council is urging residents to comment on the plan at http://eastriding.limehouse.co.uk./portal.
