*A MEETING will be held at St Martin’s Primary School in Fangfoss on Tuesday to discuss the offer of a £150,000 grant to St Martin’s Church in the village.

At the meeting, starting at 7.30pm, The Parochial Church Council will present the facts of the grant, allow views to be expressed and gauge the level of interest in keeping the historic church open.

The £150,000 grant from English Heritage for structural repairs would cover less than half the costs needed to carry out all the repair work.
