RESIDENTS of West Street and the surrounding area are staging a Christmas party on December 11 to raise funds for their childrens Christmas event.
The party is being held at the Windsor Hotel and will feature five local entertainers, a raffle, charity auction and more.
The group are appealing to local businesses and residents to support their fundraising in the hope that enough money will be made to fund a visit from Father Christmas to hand out toys to local youngsters on December 22.
Tickets to the party cost £5 and are available from Janie's Kitchen and Westwood Ho guest house on West Street, Leeds House on Windsor Crescent and The Spinnaker on Pembroke Terrace.
