A MAN arrested for repeatedly banging on his sister's door while drunk has been given a conditional discharge.
Appearing before magistrates, Anthony Harold, 33, of Princess Street, Bridlington, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly.
The court heard that on October 29 his sister had called the police to report that Harold was drunk and banging on her
house door on North Street at around 10pm.
He was stopped on The Promenade by officers who noticed that his speech was slurred and he was swaying They told him to go home.
Later that night, CCTV cameras caught Harold back on North Street banging on the door and he was arrested.
Imposing a 12-month conditional discharge and ordering Harold to pay £85 in costs, magistrate David Smith advised him to stay out of trouble in future.
