KEEP-FIT enthusiasts got on their dancing shoes at Leisure World while raising money for the NSPCC.
Thirty people took on the challenge of a two-hour long aerobathon, in which aerobic excercises such as salsa dancing and hi-low step excercises are performed non-stop for the entire event.
It was one of 75 held simultaneously around the country with entrants paying £5 each on the night, which along with sponsorship money, will be donated to the NSPCC.
The £5 entry fee also got entrants a T-shirt.
The charity hopes the event will raise £90,000 towards its Child's Voice Appeal nationally. Nicola Parker, who took the aerobathon class, said: "The night went really well. We are hoping to have raised a couple of thousands of pounds once we get all of the sponsorship money back.
"Everyone who took part did really well throughout, and there was a great atmosphere around the whole evening because we were doing it for such a good cause."
Nicola and the team at Leisure World ran a similar event at the beginning of the year, raising more than £2,000 for Cancer Research UK.
